B.Sc. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which was established in the 2006-2007 academic year at our university’s Akfirat Campus, continues to provide high quality education under the guidance of both young, dynamic scholars as well as experienced academicians.
Students of our department benefit from courses related to electronics, computers and communication, the three basic building blocks of technology. Our educational model not only includes theoretical knowledge but gives students the opportunity to practice what they learn and to analyze the results as well. The latter is made possible by providing students with access to our university’s laboratories, which are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
|Start:||Fall – September|

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department started out with four computer laboratories as well as a fully equipped Circuits and Systems laboratory for students’ use. As a means to our aim of acheiving the highest level of education possible, in 2008 we added to these labs Microprocessors, Digital Logic Circuits, and Image and Signal Processing labs, thus enriching the quality of education and opportunities made available to our students.
Okan University is the university that combines all cultures and all nationalities together. That’s the reason why I love my university. It’s located in Istanbul, Turkey. Istanbul is the best city and the most comfortable place especially for students. I’m an international student from Syria, studying Business Administration. I would say it is the most helping yet strong in instruction and Education. And let’s not forget about, it’s spectacular and amazing campus. I recommend visiting Okan University and I assure just by visiting Okan, any student will love this university and will love its atmosphere.

The primary goal of Okan University’s Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is to graduate engineers who have a full understanding of all relevant aspects of electrical engineering, electronics, and communication, and who have the fundamental knowledge necessary for them to work in related fields such as robotics, mechatronics, and automotives as well.
A degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering will open up job opportunities not only in the fields of electronics and communication fields but in other engineering fields too, in which knowledge is processed and new ideas are produced.
